newfound love..

yihee~, lovelife?! ndi ren.. pero pwede,, haha..

i just fell in-love with this novel written by Paulo Coelho [author of The Alchemist]
entitled : By The River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept, [emo un title no?] hahaha,..

you can't blame me, ayos kasi e, it's about two ex-young lovers na na.reunite after eleven years, ung lady [Pilar name niya] parang nag.transform na sa isang strong and independent woman while her ex-labidabs [wlang name?] ay isa ng wafoo at charismatic na spiritual leader.. she has learned well how to bury her feelings . . . and he has turned to religion as a refuge from his raging inner conflicts. Now they are together once again, embarking on a journey fought with difficulties, as long-burried demons of blame and resentment resurface after more than a decade. But in a small village in the French Pyreness, by the waters of the River Piedra, a most special relationship will be reexamined in the dazzling light of some of life's biggest questions.. [galing yan s likod nung libro, can't translate e, d kaya ng powers.. haha..]

ayon,, and sobrang daming 'panamang' quotes about love and taking risks.. eon, i encourage you na try nyo dn xa basahin,, and kung ma.tripan nyo, payamanin natin si Paulo Coehlo at ang National Bookstore.. hahaha..

i guess i'll just end this entry with my favorite quote from the novel so far..

"There are defeats. No one can avoid them. But it's better to lose some of the battles in the struggle for your dreams than to be defeated without ever even knowing what you're fighting for."
-p50, By The River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept, Paulo Coehlo
